Angry Birds maker Rovio to receive funding Worth $1.2 Billion
Angry Birds maker Rovio is in the talks to gaining funding that value the company at $1.2 billion, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Two people with knowledge of the discussions said, that Rovio is considering taking the funding from a “company in the entertainment business.” Rovio rejected similar offers from other investors, according to the report.

The latest round of funding follows a $42 million round in Series A investment from venture capital firms Accel Partners and Atomico Ventures in March. Mikael Hed, chief executive and co-founder, said that Angry Birds is successful game and will continue to grow they wish to develop such more success stories.
