Gujarat transform its Volvo buses into ‘WiFi cafe’
Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) is now going to offers WiFi buses specially to attract the students, tech-savvy people & youngsters.So that youngsters can now browse their favorite website even they have not subscribed to any data plan with their service provider via WiFi enabled phone.
An earlier report published in the Ahmedabad Mirror said that the plan was to Wi-Fi enable all Volvo buses that connects mega cities in Gujarat like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Surat.Gujarat will be the number one Indian state to provide wireless high-speed internet access to passengers in its Volvo buses.
Now stay connected to your friends with your favorite social networking website or you can check your mail, send or receive mail even when you are out of Internet coverage.
GSRTC secretary P D Patel said, “We are expecting good response for the new services as many people residing in the western part commute to Vadodara every day. It will also save them autorickshaw fare to ST terminus at Geeta Mandir.”
