Get notified on Chat/mail arrives with Gmail desktop notifier

If you are a person who are very busy with their important work online and has to respond to their new mails and chats messages in emergency, so you are checking your Gmail every 2-3 ,minutes or refreshing Gmail page to check whether the new mail has been arrived, now you need not to check them every two minutes but get notified on Chat/mail arrives with Gmail desktop notifier.Every time a new email or chat message comes, Gmail desktop notifier will notify you through a HTML5 powered alert on your desktop.You can also use Gmail preview pane to read your mails directly without opening them.

To turn Gmail desktop notifier on your Gmail account, you need to click on Settings link on your Gmail account at the top right corner.There you will have to choose if you are wishing to get notified on new message/mail only or you can turn on Chat notification from Gmail as shown in image here and save.

HTML5-based and currently works only in Chrome only, but Google mail blog says they are currently working on to make those notification as a part of the standard Web platform.
