Till date I was capturing screenshot of my blog by print screen button located on keyboard.I was then paste it on MS paint and making whatever I wanted, but recently I found an awesome Google Chrome extension that can easily take screenshots of any webpage without the need of any software.All you have to do is just install the Chrome extension in your Google Chrome web-browser and You have done.Now Whenever you wish to capture snapshot of any webpage just follow the steps.The main advantage is that it can capture photos in rectangle,circles and other lines.

Create screenshots of any webpage easily with chrome Extension :
1.Switch to Google Chrome Web-browser if you are currently using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer or any other web-browser.

2.Now Open the link to download Awesome Screenshot Plugin for Google Chrome browser.

3.Once you opened the link, within a minute, The Google Chrome extension will be installed in your Chrome Browser.(depending on your connection speed provided by your Interned service Provider(ISP),You can manually Check your Internet connection speed online.)

4.After installing the Google Chrome Extension, a new icon will be appeared just beside of address bar of your Google Chrome web-browser.(You can create your own Google Chrome extension.)

5.Whenever you wish to capture a screenshots of any part of website, Just click on that icon & it will provide you an option like capture visible part of page, Capture selected area and capture entire page.Based on your need you can capture a screenshot of your website.I took my blog screenshot for just an example.Look at the image provided below.
When you are trying to capture Screenshot from Google Chrome Extension, you will see an Extra Screenshot toolkit provided at below address bar.
That toolkit will helps you to cropping an image you are taking for screenshots,drawing a rectangle,circle,Arrow, line ,blurring effect in an image you are taking, You can type text in an image with various colors with color picker option.

6.When you are finished your image editing with Chrome plugin, you have to click on Done option.
To save an image file you captured, there will be 3 option for you!!!

• Automatically you will be promoted to save file whether in your PC or online.Well you can save that image file online,If you are clicking on temporary save that image file online, it will be visible for 3 days and automatically deleted after 3 days.
• Another great option is Diigo.com that offers permanently saving image online.You can sign in with your Google account.
• You can manually save that image file on your local drive of your PC by clicking on save as option from right click of mouse.

It supports PNG file format.You can save larger image file up-to 2 MB.

How to create working Google Chrome Extension:



Camerongray has explained about Making own Google Chrome Extension for en.mobile.wikipedia.org, so we will discuss about making an Google Chrome extension for the same topic to prevent you from any confusion.
First of all you need to create a folder with an name of your Google Chrome application with icon you wish to have for your plugin on Google Chrome browser.
If you don't know how to create folder for your Google chrome extension, you can download both the files online as per the instruction in this video provided here.
I am explaining you theoretically, you need to create 2 files first one is manifest.json file & second one is main.html.Remember the extension for both, from which one file has *.json extension and another one has *.htm extension both can be opened and edited in notepad file.

You can also make your *.json file your self, for that you need to open notepad.there paste the code given below and save it as manifest.json name.


You have done, now another file is remaining is main.html you can also create that file by pasting the following coding in your notepad file and save it as main.htm, you have done.

Now save both of that file with an icon you wish to have in your Google chrome extension and you have to play with the above coding.Just open the manifest.json file with notepad and there write your extension name (We are discuss about wikipedia, so write about mobile wikipedia there,however you can write different name also if you wish to make else).
EXTENSION NAME HERE must be replaced by your Google Chrome extension name.Now DESCRIPTION GOES HERE should be replaced by your application or Google Chrome extension description about which you are wishing to create your Google Chrome extension.
ICON FILENAME (including file extension) GOES HERE should be replaced by your icon if you wish to have icon for your Google Chrome extension.

Now save that manifest.json file and now it is turn for main.thml file.So open main.html file in notepad and create your application with that.
URL OF PAGE TO LOAD HERE should be replaced by url which should be displayed by clicking on your Google Chrome extension, here we are disscussiing about wikipedia so we will replace that with mobile.Wikipedia.org
width and height can also be maintained if you wish or you can change as per your wish.now save that file too.
Now the turn for running your Google Chrome extension in your own Google Chrome web-browser .For testing your Google Chrome extension is working or not , just open your Google Chrome and in address bar, just type chrome://extensions
It will load one page there you need to click on the developer mode and there select load unpacked extension from top left position of your browser.
Now select the folder which you have recently saved menifest file and main file with icon in it.It will load and you will see at the top right side or right side of your chrome web-browser that there is one new extension has been installed,if you have made an icon so that icon will also be appeared there.Just click on your icon and you will see running your own Google Chrome extension.

New Google Chrome will now supports Mac OS X Lion's multitouch gestures.With Google Chrome new 14.0.835.0 version user will get two-finger swipe gestures for forward and backward navigation on OS X Lion.Google Chrome version 14.0.835.0 updated for Mac and Linux, and Google chrome 14.0.835.2 version has also been updated for Windows according to Googlechromerelease blog.

Google Chrome version 14.0.835.0 will support for communication protocol for Web Sockets, a high-speed communication mechanism between browsers and Web servers.Google also said about Chrome new version that PDF viewing has broken in this release but fix for this broken will be release for this later in the week.

Google toolbar, by which Firefox users were able to download as an add-on to the service, and having features such as Google Translate, are not be available via the latest versions of Firefox.


Since many years Firefox users are provided so many features that were once offered by Google Toolbar for Firefox are now already built right into the browser.Google Toolbar help blog said that,Google Toolbar for Firefox will be worked for Firefox version upto Firefox 4 only, It will not be working for Firefox 5 and future version of Firefox.
